Our team
Disclose is an organization comprising a board of directors, an editorial board, a volunteer supervisory board, six staff journalists, and about twenty freelance journalists who regularly contribute to the publication.

Cofounder and editor-in-chief
Mathias found Disclose in 2018 alongside Geoffrey Livolsi, who has not been a member of the organization since March 2024.

Rémi is an investigative journalist and documentary films director, specialised in computer security, data-driven journalism and open source investigations.
Ariane Lavrilleux

Editor-in-Chief – Human Rights, Arms Sales, and Surveillance
Ariane joined the permanent Disclose team in 2024. She is committed to the defense of the freedom of the press and a member of the Observatoire français des atteintes à la libertés de la presse (OFALP) and of the association Prenons la Une.
Pierre Leibovici

Editor-in-Chief – Climate and Pollution
Pierre joined Disclose in 2022 after working as a journalist for the local investigative media outlet Mediacités. At Disclose, he coordinates environmental investigations and impact strategy.

Director of Development
Anne joined Disclose in January 2025 as Director of Development after several years of experience in fundraising for nonprofit organizations.
Pénélope Blanchetête

Journalist
Penelope is in charge of social media management. She holds a master’s degree in humanitarian aid and advocacy and is currently enrolled in a work-study program at the Center for Professional Journalism Training (CFPJ) in the new media track.
Vivien Brunel
Chief Financial Officer
After serving as a management controller and then as a financial manager for nearly 20 years, Vivien joined Disclose in January 2022 as a part-time Chief Financial Officer.
The editorial committee
It takes part in the choice of stories and the composition of investigative teams, and ensures the respect of journalistic ethics :
Alexander Abdelilah (journalist and member of the journalistic collective We report), Mathieu Asselin (photographer), Marianne Kerfriden (journalist and documentary director), Rémi Labed (journalist), Ariane Lavrilleux (journalist), Inès Léraud (freelance journalist), Leila Miñano (freelance journalist and member of the journalistic collective Youpress), Anne-Sophie Novel (independent journalist), Philippe Pujol (journalist and writer) Magali Serre (freelance documentary maker) and Nicolas Serve (photographer).
The bureau
The bureau is responsible for the day-to-day management of the association and ensures that its statutes (Articles) are respected. The bureau is made up of three journalists, elected at the general assembly meeting, who are:
Magali Serre (president), Leila Miñano (secretary general) and Nicolas Serve (treasurer).
The board
The board votes on the budget and ensures the impartial management of the funds available in the accounts of the association. It has five members who are all journalists:
Alexander Abdelilah, Basile Lemaire, Leila Miñano, Magali Serre, Nicolas Serve.
The supervisory board
The supervisory board ensures the respect of the association’s missions of public interest. It is composed of people from civil society who are known for their experience, variously, of the media environment, press laws and issues of human rights. They are:
Céline Bardet (lawyer, international jurist and founder of the organisation We are not weapons of war), Joseph Breham (criminal defence lawyer specialised in human rights), Marie-France Malonga (sociologist of media, focusing on the representation of minorities), Elodie Nace (chief executive of the organisation La maison des lanceurs d’alerte), Jacques Trentesaux (cofounder of Mediacités).
