Almost 60% of the products manufactured by Ikea are made from wood. But are the brand’s commitments to respecting ecosystems being met? From the last boreal forests in Sweden to plantations in Brazil, via the New Zealand countryside and the wide open spaces of Poland and Romania, Disclose has traced the Swedish multinational’s supply chain. This multi-part investigation has been adapted into a 90-minute documentary, broadcast on Arte on Tuesday 27 February.
